Zoolus in their Unit Area – 1982 (Blue Bags)
This photo taken before loading buses. In this year only, Zoolus had BLUE bags due to a supplier error.
In the background, to the left is a long pathway that passes the I-Pool and emerges beside Nature. For a time during the 70’s and 80’s there was a large sewer pipe at the entrance to the path that could be walked through. A stream ran across the path about half-way along.

Jetson Treehouse

This treehouse was destroyed in the mid-80’s when a tree limb fell on it during a thunderstorm – the day after camp! A new treehouse was built in its place.
The log pyramid beside the treehouse was used for many cabin photos. The new treehouse is visible below.

Cookouts
Throughout the years, cookouts in the Sugar Bush were part of the schedule. Cabins would have this opportunity once or twice per session. Campers would collect firewood and counsellors would build fires and cook. Hamburgers and hot dogs were typically prepared.
