The first bridge over the river was built in 1962:
The first bridge was a flat plank without sides. Little more was required since the river could often be easily crossed without the bridge:

The photo below shows the typical, low level of the river in 1961. It was common for activities to take place here.
After the construction of the G. Ross Lord Dam in 1969, water levels were consistently much higher. Activities were no longer possible and a higher bridge was required.
Second Bridge – 1969
A larger and higher wooden bridge with sides was built in 1969. It was located further west of the first bridge.
Whereas the first bridge aligned with a path to the stables, the new bridge ended at a cliff. This required a staircase to be built to reach the high ground.

Third Bridge
A steel bridge replaced the wooden bridge in the early 1980s:
